The four bottles in the Italy bundle: Jeio Prosecco, Vigneti del Sole Pinot Grigio, Tesoro Della Regina Chianti Classico and Gio Barba Fontanelle
The Wine Tour · Italy

Italy in Four Bottles

Four Italian bottles chosen the way we'd stock our own fridge: a Gavi from Piedmont, a thirteen-dollar Pinot Grigio that punches miles above it, the Chianti Classico we restock more than any other red, and a Piedmont red almost nobody outside Italy knows. Nothing here is a famous label, which is exactly why it's good value.

What's in the bundle

Every bottle, and why it made the cut.

Nothing in here is filler. Each one was picked by the people who stock our shelves, for a reason you can taste.

The EverydayVigneti del Sole Pinot Grigio delle Venezie 750ml

Vigneti del Sole Pinot Grigio delle Venezie 750ml

The Step UpFlora Lisa Pinot Grigio 2024 750ml

Flora Lisa Pinot Grigio 2024 750ml

Grilled fish, shellfish, anything with lemon.
The SouthTerredora Irpinia Falanghina 750ml

Terredora Irpinia Falanghina 750ml

The best-value wine country nobody shops properly.
The story

The best-value wine country nobody shops properly.

Italy makes wine in all twenty of its regions, from about five hundred native grape varieties, and prices almost all of it below what an equivalent French bottle would fetch. The catch is the labels: they assume you already know which hillside you're reading about, so most people default to the two or three names they recognise and overpay for them.

This box is the version our buyers drink. The Prosecco is from Valdobbiadene, the steep hills where the good stuff actually grows, not the flat industrial sprawl that fills supermarket shelves. The Chianti Classico carries the black rooster and costs sixteen dollars. The Pinot Grigio is the bottle that reminds you the grape was worth planting.

None of them are famous. All of them are things we can get again next month, which is why they're here.

  • 20wine regions, from the Alps to Sicily
  • 500+native grape varieties still in commercial use
  • $16.49average bottle price in this box
The maths

Cheaper than the same bottles, one at a time.

No mystery discount. Here's exactly what each item costs on our shelf today, and what the bundle costs instead.

Someone already chose

The hard part of a bottle shop is the wall of labels. This is one decision instead of four, made by people who taste this stuff for a living.

It costs less than the parts

Every bundle is priced under the sum of its bottles at today's shelf price. The receipt on the left is the whole argument.

It gives well

A single bottle is a nice gesture. A themed set with the story of each bottle is a present — and it arrives ready to hand over.

One delivery, one signature

Local delivery or in-store pickup, all of it in one box. Someone 21+ signs once and you're done.

Put it to work

What to do with it tonight.

Weeknight

Pinot Grigio and anything from the sea

Crisp and citrusy enough for shrimp, linguine alle vongole, or a Tuesday roast chicken.

Serve it genuinely cold — around 45°F.
Friday

Gavi and fried food

Cortese has the acidity to cut through anything fried. Calamari, arancini, chips.

The white Piedmont drinks when it isn't drinking red.
Sunday sauce

Chianti Classico and red sauce

Sangiovese's acidity is built for tomato. Lasagna, braciole, a pizza off the grill.

Give it twenty minutes open if you have them.
The one to look up

Gio Barba, slightly cool

Twenty minutes in the fridge first. Piedmont reds are built for food and reward a little chill.

This is the bottle you'll ask us to reorder.
Good to know

Questions, answered.

How does delivery work?

We deliver locally and offer in-store pickup — the options you'll see at checkout depend on your address. As a New York package store we can't ship out of state, so delivery is limited to where we're licensed.

Do I have to be 21?

Yes. You must be 21 or older to buy, and an adult signature (21+) is required at delivery.

What if one of the bottles is out of stock?

Bundles are built from live shelf stock, so the page will stop you before that happens. If something sells through between your order and packing, we substitute an equal-or-better bottle from the same country or category and email you first — or refund that portion if you'd rather.

Can I swap a bottle?

Tell us in the order notes and we'll do our best. The bundle price is built around the specific lineup, so a swap needs to be a like-for-like from the same country or category.

Can I send it as a gift?

Yes — check out to your recipient's address inside our delivery area. Whoever accepts the delivery has to be 21+ with ID. Add a note at checkout and we'll include a card.

Is this a subscription?

No. Bundles are a one-time purchase. If you want a new one every month, that's what the Wine Club and the Craft Bartending Kit club are for.
