Tierra de Caballos Anejo is a barrel aged tequila made from 100% blue Weber agave and matured in used bourbon oak. The producer takes an unusual approach, lining its barrels with agave syrup during aging to coax extra smoothness and a layered, naturally sweet character into the spirit. The result leans on vanilla, caramel and toasted oak woven through bright agave, finished in an elegant amber bottle that nods to Mexican tradition. We love it neat or in an elevated cocktail.
