The Botanist Cask Rested takes the celebrated Islay dry gin from Bruichladdich, built on 22 hand foraged Islay botanicals, and rests it in oak casks for at least six months. That time in wood adds depth, oak spice, vanilla and dried fruit, plus extra viscosity, while the herbal, floral and juniper heart stays intact. The result bridges gin and barrel aged spirit, offering complexity without overwhelming the fresh botanicals that define the original. We love it in a barrel aged Negroni or sipped slowly.
