Sassicaia is the original Super Tuscan, a Cabernet Sauvignon led red grown in the gravelly soils of Bolgheri that give the wine its name. Born from Marchese Mario Incisa della Rocchetta's pioneering vision, with its first commercial vintage in 1968, it remains the benchmark for Italian Cabernet and even holds its own Bolgheri Sassicaia DOC.
