Segal's Unfiltered Cabernet Sauvignon 750ml

Segal's Unfiltered is the wine that changed how people talk about Israeli Cabernet. First made by the winemaker Ido Lewinsohn, it goes into bottle without filtration, so nothing is stripped out and nothing is polished away. The fruit comes from the Galil, in the hills of the Upper Galilee, and the wine that results is dark, rustic and intensely flavored: black currant and blackberry lifted by mint and violet, firm tannins unwinding toward bittersweet chocolate, and a savory close of clove, dill and black olive. Pour it with a roast lamb shank or a properly serious burger.
