Howling Mob is Savage and Cooke's inaugural bottled in bond bourbon, a true grain to glass release distilled at the Mare Island distillery from ancient heirloom corn grown on a single plot in Winters, California. Aged four years in Seguin Moreau char number three barrels and bottled at 100 proof, it comes from a tiny run of just 31 barrels. We pour it for the depth that small batch California terroir brings, with brown sugar, leather, and stone fruit weaving through a long, umami-tinged finish.
