Crafted by Long Island Spirits on New York's North Fork, Rough Rider Double Cask is a high-rye straight bourbon built from 60% corn, 35% rye and 5% barley. After maturing in new charred American oak, it is finished in local Merlot and Chardonnay casks, each first tempered with brandy distilled from Long Island Chardonnay, an unusual double-cask process that adds depth and a signature regional character. The wine-cask finish lends natural sweetness alongside vanilla, toasted oak and dark fruit.
