Battaglione comes from Renato Ratti, the La Morra estate famed for mapping the Barolo crus, and it shows the same precision applied to Barbera. Made entirely from Barbera grown across the Asti hills, this 2018 highlights the grape's vibrant red fruit, bright acidity, and silky texture. Part of Ratti's collectible soldier-themed series, it is medium-bodied and wonderfully food-friendly. We love it for its juicy purity and savory Piedmont character.
