The Emerald 1865 is Ransom Spirits' historically inspired American whiskey, built from a recipe drinks historian David Wondrich unearthed from an 1865 Irish-style mash. Distilled in Oregon on an alembic pot still from a grain bill of malted barley, oats, and rye, then aged in French and American oak, it bridges old-world pot-still tradition and new-world craft. The result is a richly textured, malt-driven pour with caramel warmth and gentle baking spice that sets it apart from typical bourbon and rye.
