Pagos del Galir Godello is the flagship white of Bodegas Virgen de Galir, a small family winery founded in 2002 in the Valdeorras region of Galicia. The Godello grape thrives here on slate and granite soils at more than 600 meters of elevation, and the wine is aged on its lees to build texture and depth. The cool Atlantic climate shines through in fresh green apple, pear, and white flowers over citrus and a distinct mineral edge. We love it as a precise, refreshing expression of Galicia's revival.
