From the Nadal estate in Penedes, this is a rare bottling of Xarel-lo Vermell, the pink-skinned mutation of Catalonia's signature white grape, rarely seen as a still wine. Light skin contact gives a subtle blush-gold hue and a gently savory edge. Crisp and textural, it layers lemon zest, red apple skin, and stone fruit with fennel, white blossom, and a chalky, saline thread, finishing long and clean with anise and bitter almond.
