La Gritona is a woman-owned, woman-run reposado made in Valle de Guadalupe, Jalisco from 100 percent blue Weber agave. Distiller Melly Barajas rests the spirit roughly eight months in reused American whiskey barrels, deliberately minimizing oak so the agave stays front and center, then bottles it in distinctive recycled green glass. The result is a clean, agave-driven reposado with gentle warmth and a soft, savory roundness that we love both in cocktails and sipped neat.
