Jean-Max Roger is a respected family grower in the village of Bue, at the heart of Sancerre in France's Loire Valley. This rose is made from 100 percent Pinot Noir grown on the appellation's flinty limestone soils, which lend it a signature mineral cut. Pale and refreshing, it brims with wild strawberry, watermelon, grapefruit, and lime zest over a whisper of flint. We pour it with appetizers, grilled fish, and vegetable forward dishes.
