Complex and moderately long aftertaste carries hints of dried fruits throughout. Vanilla beans, crème brûlée, galette, dried fig, apricot, and a hint of anise greet the nose. The palate reveals a mellow, smooth mouthfeel with malty, creamy notes followed by rye spiciness. The finish is moderately woody with a very slight peat character that turns crisp, then settles into delicate sweetness. 

Best enjoyed neat or Mizuwari (water) in a Kimura tasting glass or white wine glass. Adding water brings out rye spiciness and red berries on the nose, with layers of ripe fruit interwoven with oat biscuits and tart desserts.

Pairs beautifully with white fish, shrimp, sushi, and delicately flavored cuisines that complement this whisky's refined, multi-layered character.
