Fortaleza Blanco is a cult favorite made at the historic Tequila Los Abuelos by descendants of the Sauza family, using fully traditional methods. Agave is roasted in brick ovens, crushed by a two-ton volcanic tahona stone, fermented in open-air wooden tanks, and double distilled, producing a richer, more textured agave character. Independently verified additive-free, this unaged blanco shows bright citrus and cooked agave with buttery texture, green olive, and a long, mineral finish. We consider it one of the finest blancos available.
