Domaine du Banneret is a tiny, historic estate in Chateauneuf du Pape with roots reaching back generations, farming old vines that often include the full spread of permitted southern Rhone grapes. This 2022 is a traditional Grenache-led blend rounded with Syrah, Mourvedre and a host of rare varieties, producing a layered, savory red built for the cellar. We love it for the old-school authenticity and the dark-fruited, garrigue-tinged complexity that only a small family domaine can deliver.
