Chateau Mukhrani is a Saperavi-led red from the historic estate of the same name in Georgia's Kartli region, founded in 1878 by Prince Ivane Mukhranbatoni and revived to showcase noble Georgian terroir. Saperavi is a rare teinturier grape, dark-fleshed and deeply colored, giving the wine its vibrant black-fruit core and Old World structure. We enjoy its elegant balance of ripe fruit and savory grip, and its quiet cellar-worthy potential.
