Basil Hayden Toast is a permanent release built on an entirely new mash bill of 63% corn, 27% brown rice, and 10% malted barley, swapping the brand's traditional rye for brown rice to add a gentle sweetness and softer spice. After primary aging, the bourbon is finished in toasted then flash charred oak barrels, layering on depth and a wave of sweet caramel. The result is a lighter, approachable Kentucky bourbon that we love for easygoing everyday sipping.
