Pairs With
Badia di Morrona traces its roots to an abbey founded in 1089, with the Gaslini Alberti family farming around 110 hectares of vineyards on sandy, calcareous soils near Terricciola in Tuscany. This Chianti DOCG blends roughly 85 percent Sangiovese with small amounts of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, and Syrah, hand harvested in early October and aged about ten months in neutral vessels. Ruby and medium bodied, it offers fresh red berries and florals over bright acidity, soft tannins, and a clean, harmonious finish.
