Rombauer Zinfandel is a bold, fruit-driven California red that captures the producer's signature lush style, drawn largely from old-vine fruit in the Sierra Foothills, Napa, and Lake counties and rounded with a splash of Petite Sirah. Aged in American and neutral oak, it opens with blackberry, plum, and raspberry jam accented by vanilla and spice, then turns full-bodied on the palate with ripe dark fruit, black cherry, and mocha framed by pepper and oak. The 2022 finishes long and velvety with lingering berry compote.
