Poderi Roset Barolo Cannubi 2016 750ml

This Barolo Cannubi is a masterclass in terroir from one of Piedmont's most prestigious crus. A 100% Nebbiolo grown on a small parcel of the legendary Cannubi hill, where Tortonian marl laced with tuff and sand creates the naturally dry conditions that concentrate the fruit. Sourced from roughly 60-year-old vines with southeast exposure, it undergoes a long 30 to 35 day maceration before resting two years in tonneaux. A wine of classical structure and complexity, with only about 1,500 bottles produced.
