Planteray Barbados 5 Year (formerly Plantation) is a blend of pot and column still rums from the historic West Indies Rum Distillery, built in the authentic Barbadian style. It spends roughly three years maturing in ex-bourbon casks under the island's tropical sun, then travels to France for a further two years of finishing in ex-Cognac Ferrand casks. That double maturation deepens its complexity and refines the texture, weaving caramel, toffee, and tropical fruit through a silky, lightly spiced character. We enjoy it neat, over ice, or in classic rum cocktails.
