From the Picard family's carefully tended vineyards in Sancerre, this Loire Valley Sauvignon Blanc is a crisp, elegant expression of clay and limestone soils. The grapes are hand harvested, slowly fermented in part with natural yeast, and aged on the lees for several months to build aromatic purity and texture. We chose it for the fresh, mineral driven style Picard is known for, vibrant and refined, ideal as an aperitif or with seafood and goat cheese.
