Mormoraia Haurio Chianti Colli Senesi DOCG 750ml

A beautiful Chianti from one of our favorite producers, the organically farmed Tenuta Mormoraia on the hills near San Gimignano. Sitting further south than Chianti Classico, the Colli Senesi zone gives this Sangiovese more fruit and a slightly richer body. We love its enticing perfume of pure cherry, kirsch, pomegranate, and rose, with a hint of vanilla building to a long, solidly tannic finish. Balanced acidity and subtle spice round out a stellar example of the genre from a limited production.
