Jean-Max Roger Sancerre Les Caillottes 2025 750ml

The Roger family has farmed in Bue, southwest of Sancerre, since the sixteenth century, and Jean-Max Roger holds enviable plots across the appellation. This cuvee draws Sauvignon Blanc from Amigny, Sancerre, and Vinon to express the stony, limestone caillottes soils that give Sancerre its freshness and roundness. We chose it for its finesse and minerality, with varietal rhubarb and broom, floral hawthorn, and citrus of grapefruit and lemon. The palate is bold and well-balanced with a long, fruit-driven finish.
