Clos Labarde St. Emilion 2015

Clos Labarde is a small Saint Emilion Grand Cru estate of just eleven acres set on the slopes east of the town, prized for its blend of clay, limestone, and gravel soils. The 2015 is a Merlot dominant Right Bank blend from one of Bordeaux's most celebrated recent vintages, rounded out with Cabernet Franc and a touch of Cabernet Sauvignon. Rich and balanced with layers of black fruit, oak, and savory complexity, it is drinking well now and built to age gracefully.
