Ampersand Malus Rye Whiskey Calvados Brandy blend 750ml

Ampersand Malus, named for the Latin genus for apple trees, is a sophisticated marriage of 51% Kentucky straight rye whiskey and 49% Calvados, the prized apple brandy of Normandy. Both components are aged more than eight years before blending, the rye in new charred American oak and the Calvados in French oak. Bottled at 46% ABV, it opens with fruit and spice, then unfolds layers of caramelized apple, dark toffee, and toasted oak over a dry rye backbone, finishing clean with a hint of pepper.
